How to get bigger biceps?  Great question and one I am sure every guy has asked at least once in his life.  There is not a dude out there who has not dreamed of walking around with his shirt sleeves ripping at the seams!  So how do we get bigger biceps.  On this page I will provide you with some tips to do just that.

Crank up the intensity of your workout outs, but keep them short.

If you want to crank up your muscle growth in your biceps or any muscle for that matter, you need to give it your absolute all each and every workout.  You cannot just go through the motions, you have to feel the burn and keep going.  It is important to train past failure.  Meaning push those last 2-3 reps that you do not think you can do.  Feel that burn in your arms. 

Be sure to use as heavy a weight as you can and still get  6 – 8 reps in.  But do not cheat.  If you are swaying or jerking the weight up that means you have gone to heavy.  Also do not train your arms any longer then 30 minutes at a time.  They burn out quickly and you do not want to over train them.

Mix up your exercises.

One of the top methods for how to get bigger biceps is to understand this concept.  We have all heard muscle has memory and it is best to confuse your muscles.  What this means is that your muscles get use to the same exercises after awhile, and when that happens growth slows down. 


What this means is you simply need to mix it up.  Always be changing what exercises you are doing from work out to work out.  This will keep your bicep muscles confused and you will continue to experience growth in them.  For example, if you are doing standing curls, even switching it up from a straight bar to an ez curl bar or even dumbbells will do it.

Get your sleep. 

8 hours of sleep a night minimum is what you require.  When you are sleeping is when you grow.  As you are sleeping is when your muscles really get their rest and as such grow like crazy.  It is during your deep sleep that your body releases its natural growth hormone.  So get your rest.  Go to bed and while there dream about how to get bigger biceps, and watch them grow!

Watch your diet.
